Note the amended version of the RepoPath fixes.

This new version, now with 30% less stupid, is less invasive and actually
passes tests.  It may be worth rejecting it out of if-it-aint-broke prudence,
but it does seem a bit cleaner than the original code (which had been uglified
by me in 2005 to deal with absolute paths)

Sorry for all the patch-noise lately.  I'll be more patient next time,
and give myself a day of thinking before firing something off.
