Well, that's the thing.  The lurkers have been through a long dry
spell; they're pretty dedicated to Darcs, I think.  You're right, if
you ask them I think they'll mostly say doesn't much matter to them.
The real question is that if Darcs 2 turns out to make a big
difference, will *newbies* be repelled by the techstuff and tracker
posts, and will the devs get sick of newbie FAQs?
