My brother Nejucomo just got a similar error -- pull silently  
succeeded and then left unrecorded changes -- on Ubuntu 7.04 with  
darcs 1.0.9rc2.  He had a much older version of our repository, and  
he pulled to become up to date with our current repository, but the  
unrecorded changes that he got were different than the other two that  
I've seen.  Also, happily, he made a "darcs get" copy of his  
repository before he pulled, so he should be able to reproduce this  
problem at will.

Stand by for a tarball of his repo from *before* he pulled.
