I've edited my info/host file to give this version info.  I'm running 
buildbot 0.7.6, which is the current version you mentioned.

I'll take a look at the other issues you mentioned.  What puzzles me is 
that when I run "make test" on its own, it completes in just over 11 
minutes, so nothing should be reaching a 20-minute timeout.  I'll look 
into setting more frequent keepalive pings to see whether they'll keep 
the build master happy.
