[darcs-devel] [issue1153] transfer-mode not working with win32 client

With darcs-2.1.0 (+2 patches) on a linux server and darcs-2.1.0 (+123 patches)
as built by the Windows buildbot on a Windows client, and with putty ssh Release
0.60, darcs transfer-mode does not work.  This is a major problem because, you
see, there were lots of bugs in this issue tracker about darcs's attempts to
invoke scp/sftp and these bugs were closed by Eric Kow since people could use
darcs transfer-mode.  (e.g. issue362, issue325, issue696)

Also, it seems like old-fashioned scp mode is deadly slow in this setup.  I
killed it after several minutes (see attached output).

Attached is the stderr from "darcs pull -a -v -v -v --debug --timing".
