[darcs-users] Changing author of patches

Hi,

I have some darcs repos I created, and I seem to have been rather free
in changing my author entry for different patches.  I want to change
them all to have one permanent author name I choose for myself.

Will it be OK to gunzip/edit/gzip them?  Is there a quicker way of doing it?

And I'd like some advice too - should I give a username as my author,
or an email address?  I don't want spam becoming a problem if I put my
project (for example) on sourceforge.
