I think it's covered in the FAQ:

although it might not be obvious.
So get the first tarball, import it in the darcs repository.
For the next tarball just copy _darcs in the directory and record all
changes as one patch.
Don't forget --look-for-adds in the repord option
and make sure to mark binaries.
