[darcs-users] Operational query

I have a repository containing a Java project created with NetBeans.
NetBeans creates a directory 'nbproject' in the top-level directory. If
I want to place the contents of the tree within another NetBeans
project, I must remove the inner nbproject directory, else NetBeans gets
upset.

I did a 'darcs get' on my original repository, and then a 'darcs mv' to
rename the nbproject directory. My hope is that I can maintain the
nbproject contents under the renamed directory. This tree, with its
renamed nbproject directory, I can place within another NetBeans project.

ProjectA---A--
        |---B--
        |---nbproject--

ProjectA'--A--
        |---B--
        |---nbproject.mod--

Into my modified repository, I have already successfully pulled updates
from the primary repository, which do not affect the nbproject
directory. Will a 'darcs pull' also pull changes within the original
nbproject directory into nbproject.mod? If so, will this happy situation
endure indefinitely, or will certain actions, like a 'darcs tag' prevent
further updates from nbproject to nbproject.mod?
