[darcs-users] darcs and PuTTY

Hello,
I'm currently dealing with TortoiseDarcs. TortoiseDarcs uses some PuTTY
binaries to do all the SSH stuff. Until recently, I used darcs 1.0.8 with
TortoiseDarcs, and everything seemed to work fine.
Now I have switched to a pre-release of the upcoming TortoiseDarcs version,
and since that switch, I'm unable to push any patches. It seems as if
ssh.exe cannot successfully be executed because darcs uses options, the PuTTY
SSH client (plink) doesn't understand.
When still working with darcs 1.0.8, I already noticed the messages “plink:
unknown option "-O"”. Because everything seemed to be okay, I didn't pay
much attention to this. Now I've realized that this isn't just a warning
message but an error message, meaning the SSH client always aborts when this
message shows up. Interestingly, this didn't seem to cause any harm.
With the new version of TortoiseDarcs which uses a post-1.0.8 version of
darcs, things are worse. At the beginning, plink outputs the above message.
Then I have the chance to choose which patches I want to push. After that, I
get the message “plink: unkown option "-q"” and afterwards “Pushing to
"<user>@<host>:<path>"...”. Unfortunately, nothing is pushed. Actually, the
darcs binary on the server is not called at all.
Is anybody able to help me with this?
Best wishes,
Wolfgang
