[darcs-users] bug with exotic file names?

hi everybody,

I just got this:

$ darcs add fig_I02\:known_schemes\:full_text_search\:1.png
darcs: fig_I02:known_schemes:full_text_search:1.png: getSymbolicLinkStatus: does not exist (No such file or directory)

I am using darcs 1.0.8 (stable branch), and at some point in time
(probably with another version), I managed to insert a file like this
to the repo: I can see it in _darcs/current/. Now for new files I get
this error.

Is there something wrong with ':' in file names?

Given that it used to work before: Should this behavior be considered a bug?

Is there a version that I can use that doesn't have this problem?

thanks a lot,
Matthias
