[darcs-users] TortoiseDarcs misinterpreting file status

Hello,
I installed TortoiseDarcs on Windows XP. First, I had to discover that the
darcs binary provided with it (1.0.6) had a bug which always resulted in
something like a “missing case alternative” message on some simple darcs
command (have forgotten which). Then I exchanged the darcs binary with a
darcs 1.0.8 one and everything worked fine.
Today, TortoiseDarcs started to behave strangely. If I create a file,
TortoiseDarcs interprets it correctly as not being in the repository (grey
icon). If I add the file to the repository, it recognizes that the file has
unrecorded changes (orange icon). But when I record the file, TortoiseDarcs
again thinks that the file is not in the repository. Changing the contents
of the file doesn't change this situation. I always get a grey icon and
haven't a record entry etc. in the context menu.
Does anybody have an idea what could be wrong here?
Best wishes,
Wolfgang
