I'm sorry if I didn't reply to this earlier -- I just noticed it in  
my inbox and I'm not sure if I've already replied to it.

I can configure the buildmaster to not send mail unless a slave  
disconnects and stays disconnected for a given time period.  Maybe we  
could set that to something like 1 week?
