That depends on the use case.  A lazy to-ssh put would be useful for me
when I merely want to establish a remote copy of the working tree and
the ability to push updates.

For example, this would be useful for uploading my dotfile repository to
a webserver, so that I can refer to http://twb.ath.cx/prefs/.profile
instead of having to put my .profile in a pastebin every time I want to
show it to people.  I really don't care if someone tries to make a
complete get of http://twb.ath.cx/prefs.
