I'll keep that in mind. Stuff like that is probably written down somewhere
in the developer's section of the wiki, which I haven't come around to read
yet... ;-)

BTW, I did check the (sources for the) other commands for possible colorized
xml output and couldn't find anything that looks bad.

And apropos automation: I love it, really, in principle. But e.g. the
default settings for the 'test' preference is so that it leads to
compilation errors (I am using ghc-6.8.2). Is this something I should file
a bug for?
