Thanks for the explanation, I hadn't understood that there really are two
layers:

-First or Last is patch-theory, as when you pull, you want the set of
patches you get to be an initial section of the dependencies, and when you
unpull, you want to get a final section.

-Reversed or not is UI and is the order in which patches are asked about to
the user.

In the light of this, I understand even less why matching patches is
incompatible with Last and FirstReversed.
