IIRC I didn't mention it because 1) cabal-install is optional, but ghc
is required and ought to work anywhere; and 2) this is about doing
test builds, not installing Darcs for production use.

I would normally put stuff like "just run cabal install in the working
dir" in ./INSTALL or in the wiki.
