Uh-oh! :-) Now darcs whatsnew just says "offset mismatch" even if I
delete the index.

Well, time to downgrade.

Oh also, before the rollback, I did a darcs mv, so there's still a move
patch in pending.  Maybe your newest bundle addresses something related?
