Unfortunately I've no experience of Windows installers for client
applications. I still think, however, that unpacking a zip file
somewhere is a much better way to install a developer tool (that
requires some computer skills to be used) than an installer that
places things around.
Maybe that's just my Unix mindset :).

As far as I can see, many of Windows users complaints are about
missing or broken feature, not the missing installer (even if I admit
that it could be a nice addition).

If I were making an installer I would use MSI nowadays, not third
party products.

Anyway, let's put that in bugtracker: maybe I (or someone else) could
hack it during a rainy sunday...
