I don't know if this is the best place to suggest an edit to wiki pages, but <a href="https://redmine.replicant.us/projects/replicant/wiki/Upstream" id="LPlnk">

It sounds like, from just below in the thread (<a href="https://github.com/postmarketOS/pmbootstrap/pull/1046#discussion_r159084724" id="LPlnk">https://github.com/postmarketOS/pmbootstrap/pull/1046#discussion_r159084724</a>),
that the file could be replaced with an entry in the Device Tree. On the wiki page, should the entry be amended to "Configuration file is mandatory unless relevant entry in Device Tree is created", or words to that effect?</div>
