This list is for general user discussion and mutual support related to the GNOME Evolution groupware application. It is unrelated to the official GNOME support page. Guidelines for posting When posting questions please remember to include your version of Evolution (see Help->About in Evolution). The language of the list is English, and members prefer posts to be in plain text. Posts in HTML should include a text/plain alternative (this also applies to any automatic signature block if you have one). To keep proper threading, replies to posts should wherever possible be done with Reply-To-List rather than Reply-To-All. Evolution provides the Group Reply button to make this easier. Do not introduce a new topic by hijacking an existing thread, i.e. by replying and simply changing the Subject. Instead, post a new message to the list address (see below). When replying, quote at least part of what you wish to comment on (trimmed to what is relevant) and add your comments below, i.e. do not "top-post". Note that an additional blank line before starting to type makes your comment easier to read and will prevent some mail software from treating the comment as part of the quoted material. Do not cross-post between this list and the Gnome Discourse channel. The two are entirely unrelated. To see the collection of prior postings to the list, visit the evolution-users Archives.
Using evolution-users
To post a message to all the list members, send email to evolution-users@lists.osuosl.org. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to evolution-users
Subscribe to evolution-users by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
