The same here on Debian GNU/Linux 3.0 on x86:

thinkpad:~/darcs/darcs/darcs-readonly$ time /opt/darcs-1.0.0/bin/darcs-1.0.0 check --complete --no-test
The repo is consistent!

real 0m36.557s
user 0m29.204s
sys 0m3.083s
thinkpad:~/darcs/darcs/darcs-readonly$ /opt/darcs-1.0.0/bin/darcs-1.0.0 -v
1.0.0

thinkpad:~/darcs/darcs/darcs-readonly$ time /opt/darcs-1.0.1rc1/bin/darcs check --complete --no-test
The repo is consistent!

real 0m33.730s
user 0m29.971s
sys 0m2.793s
thinkpad:~/darcs/darcs/darcs-readonly$ /opt/darcs-1.0.1rc1/bin/darcs -v
1.0.1rc1

But this is real 1.0.1rc1 without any additional patch put on top of
rc1! Perhaps regression is introduced in later code?

Cheers,
Karel
