After someone pushes a change from remote into a changed repository, 
the local changes are not seen as changes anymore, and can thus not be 
reverted/recorded. 
 
To reproduce: 
 
do a get of a remote repo 
change a file (I added 2 linefeeds at the end) 
make the exact same change to the remote repo, by copying file, or 
doing it manually. 
do a darcs record of your local repo, and do a darcs push. 
 
The result is that the remote repo has 4 linefeeds in the changed 
file, and a whatsnew does not show any changes anymore.
