I have the stable one installed, but a symlink to the dev one in ~/bin,
which comes first in my path, so I always run the "latest" darcs--although
not the "darcs-unstable" branch. I'm not sure what I'll do when 1.0.0 is
released and serious changes are happening in darcs-unstable. I'll
probably have to make darcs-unstable my default, and just trust that other
people will notice and report any bugs in the latest darcs. At work, I use
whatever darcs is in debian at the time.

`make check` will run the test suite, and it has an ls command which will
automatically run any new tests added to the directory.

Argh. I have just a few things I need to do when I release, and still I
always forget one or another! In this case, I remembered to do make
index.html, but forgot to run a simple make. Thanks for pointing this out!
