[darcs-devel] darcs patch: Support for absolute paths

Eric,

Thanks for your work.

This is a rather invasive patch; it basically modifies most commands'
user interface to convert to relative paths.

I'll be glad to check it in detail and apply it, but before I do that,
I'd like to understand why it is needed.  (I will not check this patch
if the only goal is to work around Cygwin bugs.)
