[darcs-devel] Proposal for new format to store patch files

I started looking into this with the version of darcs from:
http://www.abridgegame.org/repos/darcs-unstable/

I enabled profiling and then tried doing whatsnew with adds.  I also tried a
version with --enable-antimemoize (which I don't think matters now in
unstable, can someone confirm this?).

I have included the .prof files so that others can see them.  I'm not sure what
to make of the results.
