This should be a pretty simple and reproducible case of "bug in get_extra":

Create repo 1, create file "test", add five lines.
Branch repo 1 into repo 2.
Change lines 2 and 4 in repo 1, and line 2 in repo 2, record.
Pull from repo 1 into repo 2.  Unpull the change from repo 1.
Make a new change, changing lines 2 and 3, in repo 1.
Pull changes from repo2 into repo1.  Unpull the change to line 2 in repo 2.
Make a new change, changing lines 2 and 3, in repo 2.
Try to pull changes either way; it will fail with the message.

This was tested on darcs 1.0.3 (release)
