Hi Ian,

Here's a resend of some older patches (the last of which I amended as a
resolution of a conflict).

I think these are appropriate to go into darcs-unstable.

  * remove PatchSequence, which has long been obsolete.
  The patch removes remaining vestiges of PatchSequence, which was obsoleted
  long ago by PatchSet (which stores patches in the opposite order (better
  for lazy use) and which has additional information about tags that allows
  us to avoid looking at old history.
