[darcs-devel] darcs patch: add test for reverting removed directory (and 4 more)

Hi all,

Here's an amended and resolved version of my latest patches.  This includes
in particular the important bug fix for pending and the big Hopefully
change which should give us much more effective error reporting (or at
least the option to *have* much more effective error reporting).

  This rather pervasive change move us to using a new Hopefully type, which
  is similar to Either String for storing patches that may or may not exist.
  This should improve error reporting.  At a minimum it'll making easier to
  improve error reporting.
