When I try to build current darcs-unstable on AMD64 with ghc6.4 and  
gcc-3.3 I get the following errors:

ghc  -cpp  -package QuickCheck -package util -package parsec -O - 
funbox-strict-fields  -Wall -Werror -I. -DHAVE_CURSES -DHAVE_CURL -c  
IsoDate.lhs
make: *** [IsoDate.o] Killed
