[darcs-devel] [issue333] darcs push --matches=... doesn't seem to
have any effect

New submission from Michael Livshin <darcs at cmm.kakpryg.net>:
the help for the darcs push command mentions a "--matches" flag which is
supposed to take a pattern.
I've tried a "not" pattern that I've previously verified as working with the
darcs annotate command (where the option is documented as "--matches" rather
than "--match"; I wonder if it matters?), but it didn't filter any patch out
when used with the darcs push command.
perhaps I'm misunderstanding something?
this is using darcs 1.0.8.
thanks,
