Hi,
Amend-recording a patch you didn't write is quite unlikely to make
sense. First it means your changes will be attributed to the original
author, which doesn't seem right, and second it means that the patch has
probably been distributed to some extent, so amend-recording it is
likely to cause conflicts.
Therefore it seems logical that darcs should warn about amend-recording
a patch with a different author to that of the local repo.
