[darcs-devel] darcs patch: improve error message when unable to access a repository.

Here's my response to Tommy's patch.  I think this is probably
sufficient.  I think it's also better to expose the actual error,
as it gives users a hint as to how to debug the problem (which
may be a mistake in their URL, for instance).
