[darcs-devel] darcs patch: Add some more debug functions. (and 3 more)

Mostly resending this patch in the hopes that somebody will want to work on it!

I don't know enough Haskell to know if my 'avoid memory leak' patch actually
does avoid the leak that David pointed out.

Also, I'm wondering if instead of doing a carriage return on each counter call
(which I think is the same as what David 'votes' for?), we could clear the
screen and print out the whole table.

Finally, maybe this is too much information for a mere debug mode and we want
another extra-verbose debugging mode?
