Hi. Yes, upgrading to hashed-storage 0.3.7 is definitely advisable, it fixes a
number of bugs (you need to recompile darcs as well). So this may be fixed, and
if this happens around uses of ``darcs whatsnew filepath``, then this is
actually very likely to be fixed. If I meet Reinier soon, we will make a 2.3.1
that requires 0.3.7...
