[darcs-devel] [issue1996] cannot select removed directory from command line for record

I could not reproduce this, but I swear it happened to me in one of my 
repos with HEAD after 2.5 and prior to Darcs 2.8

Basic pattern is

 rm -rf someDirectory
 darcs record someDirectory
 [complaint that the directory does not exist]

We're waiting on somebody who can make this sort of thing happen again
