As I understoof it, this ticket is about the ``couldn t fetch´´ bug 
provoked by unwriteable caches. Now, this precise cause is fixed but 
the message still occurs for some other cause (IIRC dowload 
speculation, something like that). Let us use 
http://bugs.darcs.net/issue2400 instead.
