[darcs-devel] hub.darcs.net via ssh fails on ubuntu 18

Belated reply: hopefully the How do I connect with ssh? answer on the 
front page covers all of this, and links to relevant issues. IIRC it's 
dependent on progress with the haskell ssh package.
