I get this when I run the test either manually or via the test harness
(at the line after the pull allowing conflicts, meaning it can't record
a standard resolution patch even if I ignore the failure, as there are
no changes to resolve)

| rm: cannot remove 'd/f': No such file or directory

Can you double-check if it works for you as-is?
