I also think any character that can be used in the filesystem should be
supported by darcs. Imagine if 'tar' wouldn't archive files that contained
spaces. It would defeat the whole purpose of having that feature in the
filesystem, and it would force people to keep a mental tally of arbitrary
restrictions, instead of just zipping along with their work.

Aside from KDE, sablotron and xalan also use spaces in their filenames.
But the point isn't how often it's used. It *might* be used, and that's
enough.
