Subversion has a utility script that, given an existing CVS repository and a
clean Subversion reposityr, will clone the CVS repository to the Subversion
repository, maintaining the repository history. I've been meaning to write
something like this for darcs... nobody's working on this yet, are they?

Subverion's change management system is very similar to CVS, so the script for
this is pretty simple; darcs would require some idiot-izing of the commits,
since it would be too tedious to be smart about the change sets. Each patch
set would be an entire block CVS commit, so some granularity would be lost.
However, keeping the change log would make it worth the effort.
