I am trying to build darcs on Win with curl library, but without success.

configure script cannot find curl_global_init.

I have tried to 'cheat' with setting ac_cv_lib_curl_curl_global_init=yes,
but bunch of unresolved references.

So, at the moment, it looks that wget it the only alternative for Win build.

Any idea how to resolve the issue?

I had similar problems in trying to compile curl via configure make ; make
install since configure script cannot find gethostbyname function, and of all
the packages I tried, none can find it via configure script (I wanted to avoid
fiddling with makefiles. :-( so I ended up using pre-compiled libraries.

Anyone has succes in building darcs with curl on Win?

Sincerely,
Gour
