[darcs-users] bsd configure hack

Hi,
I just tried to compile darcs after the recent move to autoconf and I needed
the attached patch to teach configure about bsd systems. Also, I haven't
hand-compiled anything on Net/Open for a very long time (and don't have
access to them now) so don't expect the thread detection to work there.
The patch is tested on FreeBSD -current (and is probably fine for -stable
too). Unless Peter prefers a different implementation (which is the reason I
didn't just push it right away), please apply.
Aggelos
