It looks like you need to do make convert-repo and ./convert-repo to get
your old patches into the new format.  If we're unlucky you've run into the
chicken and egg problem and your inventory needs to be converted also... in
that case you could use darcs 0.9.14 to pull the above patch, compile the
new convert-repo and run *that*.
