[darcs-users] 0.9.17 convert-repo bug

after fixing permissions problems from 0.9.16, I still got an error from
convert-repo, stracing it turned up this:
mkdir("/tmp/_darcs/newcurrent", 0777)   = -1 ENOENT (No such file or directory)
once I ran "mkdir /tmp/_darcs" it works fine.
