Thanks for reporting this! I've just fixed this bug.  These are the sorts
of bugs that tend to go unnoticed, since I don't generally use --partial
repositories, but they are great bugs to find, since fixing them speeds up
darcs on normal repositories, since it means we avoid reading unnecesary
information.  :)
