[darcs-users] Totally silly question...

...but is it possible to configure and build darcs to NOT use libssl and 
libcrypto?  I ask because my web space provider's shell environment does 
not provide these libraries, and I have no way of having them installed.  
I can these libraries to my home directory, but how would I get darcs to 
see them if they're there?
