Backups (was: Re: [darcs-users] Possibly a very simplistic solution)

Another thing, I'm currently backing up by find(1)ing all _darcs
directories, and tar(1)ing them up, and pushing the tars to a backed
up volume.  Apparently, I can recover by doing a "darcs revert".

Is there any reason this might not be entirely safe, or is this the
recommended way to do it?
