Hi people!
I know very few even have heard about Lunar Linux (lunar-linux.org) but
anyway, this might be fun to know for David Roundy at least:
I have today posted modules (=packages) for Lunar Linux for ghc and
darcs to the Lunar mailinglist. :)
This means you now (well, as soon as someone puts this in the Lunar
moonbase) can install darcs in Lunar Linux (x86) by a simple "lin
darcs". This will first download/build from source/install the ghc
module (by first downloading the binary ghc for bootstrapping etc, takes
a lot of time) and then it downloads/builds and installs darcs. :)
Also... I have just added darcs support in Lunar's package system! This
means one can define Lunar modules that loads *directly* from a darcs
repository. Lunar had support for cvs and svn already, soon also for
darcs :).
This feature is not in Lunar yet, but I am successfully playing with it
as I speak.
regards, Göran
