[darcs-users] bug in get_extra: Issues1_2e0_2e1 didn't help

Hi,

I have a repository which contains the darcs-copy of a CVS-repository
(using cvs2darcs). I have my changes in a different directory and pull
changes from the cvs-tree.

I was using darcs-1.0.0rc2, and a pull this morning took forever (240
minutes processortime when I killed it). When I ran it again, I received
the error message (bug in get_extra). I upgraded darcs (1.0.1), and
that gave the same error, with link. The link told me to use an old
version, 1.0.0rc2 didn't help. I found 0.9.16 and did:

mkdir 0916; cd 0916
darcs get ../upstream (the cvs2darcs)
darcs pull ../myversion

Fail: bug in get_extra - please report this!

So even a version almost a year old didn't help.

I could just start over with cvs2darcs, and hope for better, but thought
I'd see if it could be fixed easier.

BTW, doing it the other way around
darcs get ../myversion
darcs pull ../upstream

gives the same result.

Any ideas on how to fix it?

The cvs is an opensource program, my version isn't special, so I could
publish it if it would help anyone.

Regards,
    Chris
