I've just fixed the behaviour with partial repositories (so now you
can have a partial repository with no current) and added a user
interface to get and initialize.  I still need to do optimize --
basically cut&paste from repair, but I need to think how to
remodularise it better.

The patches are on darcs-devel and in David's mailbox.

The code leaves a lot of trash in /tmp, and I'm not competent to fix
that (it needs someone who actually can program in Haskell).  Please
see bug 183 if you think you'd like to help.

There's no documentation beyond the output of |darcs ... --help|.
